Deadly Allusions - Apps moving to iBooks

We’d like to let everyone know that the iPhone puzzle apps, Deadly Allusions, Deadlier Allusions and Deadliest Allusions, have moved over to the iBookstore and won’t be available as apps after March 12. We debated quite a lot here at MysteryCaper about how to improve the apps, but in the end we decided that there was no sense in trying to enhance our text engine. The iBooks app has pretty much perfected it.

Now, for essentially the same price as the three apps combined you get 61 puzzles for $2.99. That’s over 2/3 more murder and mayhem, and who wouldn’t want that? (You can also download a free sample.) As an iBook, Allusions can now do all the things iBooks does with ease—change the text size, etc. And there’s a built-in dictionary—allowing the player to look up a clue right on the spot. Wikipedia is also only a tap away, and with these tools on hand what chance does the average made-up murderer have? Not much!
